Vida Vojić zpívá posvátné zpěvy mystičky, benediktinské abatyše, skladatelky a výjimečné ženy 12. století, svaté Hildegardy z Bingenu. Setkání s touto umělkyní z Göteborgu se proměňuje v rituál na pomezí hudby a spirituálního prožitku.

O autorce

Vida Vojić (SWE) je hudebnice, performerka, „alchymistická“ bubenice a spisovatelka působící mezi Londýnem a Göteborgem. Ve své tvorbě propojuje zvuk, vyprávění a jemně vystavěné scénické situace, aby vytvářela vibrační performance, které spojují bezprostřední prožitek s nekonečnem. Zkoumá přitom témata magie, teologických rámců, tělesné paměti, alternativních pojetí času a samotné podstaty proměny.

Vida Vojić invokes the spirit of Saint Hildegard, by singing her medieval chants accompanied by the glass harp, subtle electronics, spatial feedback and light design, in delicate response to the liturgical season. Hildegard of Bingen was a prophetic Benedictine abbess and polymath during the 12th century Roman Germany, active as a music composer, preacher, writer, theologian, artist, playwright, herbal scientist, cosmologist and mystic.

Vida Vojić (SWE) is a London & Gothenburg-based music and performance artist, alchemical drummer and writer, working with a focus on combining sound, storytelling, and subtle set designs to create vibrational performances that connect the immediate with the infinite, exploring themes such as magic, theological frameworks, corporeal memory, alternative conceptions of time and the nature of change.
