Nastevřeno 2026 – International festival of new theatre and performance

NASTEVŘENO is a unique international festival of new, experimental theatre and performance.

In 2026, it will enter its 6th year – and it will push the festival even further.

This year we are going even closer. Closer to the place where we operate. Closer to the people who live here. Closer to you!

The festival has long been following independent theatre production, performance and site-specific projects that cross borders and open up new ways of perception. We bring inspiring artists from the Czech Republic and abroad to Pilsen and create a space for meetings, sharing and confronting different perspectives on contemporary art.

NASTEVŘENO opens up important topics of creation in the regions and at the same time actively enters the public space. This year, even more will settle in Pilsen – Jižní Předměstí – in its southwestern part, in streets, corners and places that you may normally walk past (from Němejcova, Mánesova streets towards Borský Park). It is in these that we are looking for hidden potential and through art we will revive their stories.

We have long strived not only to support overlapping and borderline forms of theatre, but also to actively involve audiences and local residents. We build bridges between the local and international scene, because it is thanks to their meeting that something new is created.

In 2026, we are preparing an exceptionally special program, which we will gradually reveal to you.

You can look forward to approximately 10 performances and performances selected from an international open call, which will take place in public space. The festival will also include community events and the creation of a visual or scenographic work.

The main highlight of the program will be productions by Czech and foreign ensembles, which will take place every festival evening directly at the Moving Station.

This year there is really something to look forward to, which is why we are once again preparing a discounted festival pass for the festival’s most loyal fans.
